This will be the third Eurovision appearance for Azerbaijan, they finished a creditable 8th and then 3rd last year.

Elnur Huseynov & Samir Javadzade sang Land Of Fire in 2008 and then in 2009 their Eurovision song was sung by Aysel and Arash.

In 2010 Eurovision Azerbaijan have chosen Safura Alizade singing Drip Drop. This has an excellent chance of winning the competition and is one of the favourites.
