Denmark were one of the first countries to choose their song and singer for Eurovison 2012.

Soluna Samay with the excellent Should've Known Better will carry the hopes of the Danes in Baku.

Denmark Eurovision History

Denmark have a very mixed record in Eurovision, a lot of very poor performances with only the occasional highlight.

One of those highlights was the victory of the Olsen Brothers in 2000 with the song Fly On The Wings Of Love.

The following year in the competition held in Copenhagen Rollo and King came second for Denmark.

The 2009 Danish entry sung by Brinck was partly written by Ronan Keating former Boyz Own member.

In 2010 Denmark had a great chance with In A Moment Like This but just missed out coming 4th.

In 2011 the band chosen was A Friend In London with the catchy A New Tomorrow. There were internet rumours that the song wasnt completely original but the boys finished in a creditable 5th place.
