Malta have never won Eurovision depite being fancied on many occasions.

The nearest they have come to winning Eurovision was  in 2002 and 2005.

In 2010 Maltas representative will be Thea Garrett singing My Dream. She and the song were unanimiously supported by the Maltese public and the jury.
