Spain another of the Big Four have not won Eurovision since the 1960's.

They had back to back wins in 1968 and 1969, the first win La La LA by Massiel beat Sir Cliff's Congratulations by one point. .

In 1969 Spain triumphed with the song Vivo Cantando which tied with 3 other countries France, Holland and the UK.   

Spain decided on their 2010 Eurovision entry which was Algo Pequenito by Daniel Diges. Hie first performance was interrupted and he ultimately received few points and was placed in 15th.

The Spanish public in Eurovison 2011 have chosen Lucía Perez singing Que Me Quiten Lo Bailao.
