Sweden

Sweden have won the competition on four occasions most famously with the song Waterloo and the supergroup Abba.

Abba's global success has never been repeated by any other Swedish act but as a Eurovision country they are always competitive.

Their national decision show Melodifestivalen is hugely popular in Sweden and over 2 million televotes were received.

Eric Saade will sing for Sweden and does a good job. The song Popular should prove popular around Europe.
