Turkey won the contest in 2003 with the re mixed Every Way That I Can by Sertab Erener.

In recent times Turkey has performed well with single figure finishing positions.

Last time Turkey were represented by Hadise a talented singer and occasional presenter who was actually born in Belgium.

Last year the Eurovision entry from Turkey was We Could Be The Same by MaNga, a great tune that came 2nd.

This year Yuksek Sadakat for Turkey will be living it up in  Eurovision with the song Live It Up.
