Your Country Needs You

Your Country Needs You is a TV series on the BBC which has been used to find the UKs entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.

After several poor results from winners of the show it wasnt used in 2011.

Two years ago the show chose Josh Dubovie who went on to represent the UK. The song That Sounds Good To Me was written by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman and finished last !

Last year boy band Blue represented the UK in Germany with the song I Can. It was well received but finished in 11th place.

UK fans are still waiting for a win which would be the first since Katrina And The Waves in 1997.
