Russia were truimphant in 2008 in the Serbian capital Belgrade.

The song by Dima Bilan was the favourite to win on the night and despite some opposition from the Ukraine and Greece they pulled away to win.

In the last 4 years Russia have only finished outside the top 3 once and that was last year in Moscow.

In 2010 they entered Lost and Forgotten Sung by the Music group of Peter Nalitch. 

2011 sees Alexey Vorobyov flying the Russian flag in Germany. The song Get You has a great chance of making the top 4.
