The United Kingdom in 2009 pulled out all the stops in a mammoth effort to land the Eurovision odds in Moscow.

They employed composer and producer Andrew Lloyd Webber to help choose the artist and the song to represent the UK after a string of dismal finishing positions in the contest.

The television show Your Country Needs You was the vehicle in which the country and the judging panel chose Jade to represent the UK who came 5th in Moscow.

In 2010 Pete Waterman of Stock Aitken Waterman fame, Jade Ewan and Bruno Tonoli will be helping choose the UK entry to win Eurovision.
